Tibiyo Taka Ngwane Managing Director, Dr Absalom Themba Dlamini said that the organisation received such news with excitement as the investments presented a watershed moment for the Kingdom’s investment and economic recovery programmes.

Dr Dlamini was full of praise for His Majesty King Mswati III, whom, he said, was leading from the front when it came to stimulating the country’s economy. “The fact that he personally launched these investments is a clear demonstration of his commitment. We congratulate you, Your Majesty, for this milestone. One day the Nation will look back at this moment and appreciate your efforts.” Added Dr Dlamini: “true to his word, His Majesty continues to lead from the front, which is encouraging for any investor, because investors want assurances that their investments are safe and have the support and protection of leaders.”

Dr Dlamini congratulated the investors, African Alliance Group, EMI Gate Holdings and Nthoese Development, for choosing the Kingdom as their investment destination. “African Alliance already has an admirable and credible investment portfolio in the country, from retail to property. It is encouraging to see them expanding their footprint, and continuously committing to the country’s economic recovery programme,” noted Dr Dlamini, who praised, in particular, Partner, Mr Sthofeni Ginindza, and his management, who have consistently demonstrated unequalled patriotism. “Foreign investors are encouraged to invest in a country when they see locals demonstrating confidence in their own economy,” Dr Dlamini said.

In the same breath, Dr Dlamini welcomed South African property investor, Nthoese Development and UAE-based EMI Gate Holdings for expressing a vote of confidence in the Kingdom of Eswatini. “Such country-to-country investments are critical for regional integration, and are a stepping stone towards the continent’s broad plan of intra-African trade. We, therefore, welcome Nthoese Development and EMI Gate Holdings to the economy and the country, and wish them many more years of fruitful business.”
