Tibiyo Taka Ngwane has a long history of driving and supporting the social development and economic growth of the nation of Eswatini. Since inception, through a Royal Charter in 1968, the organisation has been consistent in partnering with the Government of the Kingdom of Eswatini, its people and other strategic partners to pursue economic growth and utilise natural and other resources for the benefit of emaSwati.

OUR BUSINESS MODEL

Our unique business model places us at the centre of social and economic development of the people of Eswatini. We continue to invest strategically, through equity shareholding and ownership of key businesses on behalf of our people, to ensure that the people of Eswatini are active participants and beneficiaries of the economic activities of their country. Through our diverse portfolio, we create a number of jobs for our people, making us the largest employer outside the Government.

Tibiyo Taka Ngwane has a business arm that investigates, promotes, initiates and manages investment projects for the maximum creation of wealth within the mission, goals and guiding principles in order to sustain viable growth in its surplus funds. The organisation also has a separate fund administration arm that distributes funds according to approved guidelines in order to fulfil the mission of Tibiyo Taka Ngwane in its assistance to emaSwati (ie Eswatini Nation Development Expenditure). Social investment is our core business. We invest in developing and improving the lives of emaSwati through an education support programme that offers bursaries to high school pupils and scholarships to our young people towards tertiary education. We also invest in the peaceful co-existence of our nation by supporting cultural and traditional events that preserve our culture and national identity.
